New World Alliances [Foundation] was founded by Sir Larry M. Swart, who serves as its Founder and Chairman.
Brendan Michael Merrick, as CEO and Head of Global Affairs, provides global executive leadership, strategic direction and international coordination in accordance with the authority and responsibilities formally entrusted to his office.
At the centre of NWA[F]’s worldwide administration is the Global Special Envoy Office, designated as the Global Head of Administration. This Office is responsible for helping transform global policy and executive direction into coordinated, properly documented and accountable action throughout the organisation.
The Global Special Envoy Office supports the administration of appointments, official communications, Peace Accord adoptions, certificates, records, reports, delegations, continental coordination and the orderly operation of NWA[F] offices and authorised representatives. It serves as a central administrative bridge connecting the Global Executive Office with NWA[F]’s continental headquarters, country offices, specialist divisions, ambassadors, envoys, partners and community representatives.
Operating within this wider global structure are two important institutions:
The Global Outreach Society
The NWA[F] Global Outreach Society carries the organisation’s work outward into communities, institutions and areas of genuine human need. It helps build relationships with humanitarian organisations, educators, faith communities, Indigenous peoples, businesses, professionals, community leaders and those seeking constructive pathways into NWA[F].
Its purpose is to ensure that NWA[F] does not become distant from the people it was created to serve. Outreach must mean more than public promotion. It must involve listening, relationship-building, practical assistance, project identification, education, inclusion and the creation of opportunities for people to participate meaningfully.
The Global House of Social Justice
The NWA[F] Global House of Social Justice serves as an important moral and institutional pillar within the organisation. Its purpose is to promote human dignity, fairness, accountability and access to respectful processes through which concerns can be heard and responsibly examined.
The House supports the protection of vulnerable people, the peaceful resolution of grievances, the examination of alleged injustice and the development of policies that place dignity, evidence, fairness and responsible conduct at the centre of NWA[F] operations.
It is not presented as a state court and does not replace national judicial systems, law-enforcement authorities or other legally constituted bodies. Its role is to provide an organisational pathway for ethical review, social-justice advocacy, responsible referral, reconciliation and the pursuit of fair and peaceful remedies.
A Worldwide Continental Structure
NWA[F] is developing a decentralised international structure based upon independently established Continental Headquarters across the inhabited continents of the world.
Each Continental Headquarters will be developed to address the distinct cultures, countries, laws, priorities, opportunities and humanitarian needs of its region while remaining connected to NWA[F]’s global mission, policies and standards of accountability.
This structure recognises an essential principle:
Global unity must never erase continental identity, national sovereignty, Indigenous authority or local knowledge.
Continental Headquarters are therefore intended to operate with appropriate regional leadership and practical independence while remaining accountable to the global organisation and cooperating with the Global Special Envoy Office, the Global Executive Office and other authorised NWA[F] bodies.
At present:
The NWA[F] African Continental Headquarters is operating from Accra, Ghana, coordinating the continuing development of the organisation’s African country networks, humanitarian priorities, peace initiatives, cultural relationships and development programs.
The NWA[F] United States Headquarters is in the process of being established through an East Coast and West Coast operating structure. This will allow NWA[F] to respond more effectively to the enormous geographic reach, cultural diversity and international importance of the United States.
Steps are being taken to establish a further headquarters structure serving the United Kingdom and the wider European region, with its precise location, leadership and operating arrangements to be confirmed through the appropriate establishment and approval processes.
Additional Continental Headquarters and regional structures will be progressively developed as suitable leadership, lawful arrangements, administrative capacity and responsible partnerships are established.
Together, the Global Executive Office, Global Special Envoy Office, Global Outreach Society, Global House of Social Justice and Continental Headquarters form an interconnected structure designed to ensure that NWA[F] remains internationally coordinated, continentally responsive and locally connected.
Our objective is not to control every region from one distant centre.
It is to establish a worldwide alliance in which global purpose, continental leadership, national understanding and community knowledge can work together with integrity.
One global mission. Distinct continental voices. Responsible country leadership. Meaningful local action.
